I thought I might perhaps just get one more cat
for the blun ga flea.
I wanted cats for the onion stew
and I wanted like them me.
My words they fall like just rain from face
and they make no sense, none today.
I wanted you to enjoy your deer,
and sometimes wash your own face.

I wanted to just get one more cat but then
accidently got more.
I thought it was just a tiny hedge hog
but then it grew to be a boar.
A giant pig from the Russian lands
with teeth that could gore a big bear.
I wanted something nice and cudly
but this thing just makes me roar.

I thought I might just buy one more pet, but I
like to get them sec ond hand.
A friend he offer’d me something new.
It was a lump with a hand.
This hand it look’d like it was made of stone
and it crawl’d around and I scream’d.
It was from aliens long ago
and they, they wanted to scheme.

I thought we would be safe when that man destroy’d
this thing once and for all.
But, lo! he is gone and now we weep,
for we have naught but this ball.
I thought this ball would be something like
a Pokèmon egg, that’s for sure.
But no, it’s just a ball, and that’s dumb
because I wanted Gurrdurr.
