I ran across ScoreCloud, which will turn your voice in to a MIDI track for free, and help you turn it in to sheet music for money.
While I have uses for this in my sheet music projects, I also wanted to explore how this might work for a skirmish-style timeframe.
I used Titular to create the title and gave myself an hour.
Unfortunately, I suffered as my initial track was over 2 minutes and ScoreCloud only wants to convert up to two minutes of song in to MIDI. Had I planned things a little better, this wouldn't have been an issue, but as it was, it wasn't ideal.
Still, I confirmed the approach can work to increase the novelty of the skirmish-style tracks. The details can be ironed out with practice, but it's an interesting new tool.
