I know we're talking here, but I would like to suggest something that you might not have thought of. I think that perhaps you might not be real. I think that perhaps you're just in my head. How do you go about determining things of value? How do you determine what you will believe? I like to think about a story I heard long ago how do you determine if a seed is a good tree. Look at the fruit. Look at the fruit. Does the fruit sprout something that you can or would eat. While we're on the subject. How about my imaginary friend? While we're on the subject. What about people that don't exist? How can they have meaning? How can they have value? If they don't exist at all, why bother at all? How do you go about determining things of value? How do you determine what you will believe? I don't think that's a fair comparison, your friend has other ways to exist. What impact do they have on your life? That is how imaginary people exist. If you cry while watching Scooby Dooby Doo, then Scooby Doo does exist. If you get all teary when TV characters marry, then they, too, exist. The only answer here is that belief is irrelevant when talking of people and places. Only fools and meanies would say you don't exist, even if you only exist in other's hearts. How do you go about determining things of value? How do you determine what you will believe?
