Have you wondered what space travel might sound like?
What would space travel sound like?

Would it sound like a beaver at a dam?
Going for a dip and grabbing a snack.
Would it sound like a heron diving for a snack?
Or would it sound like, or would it sound like,
something like this:

Children at the crayon box, coloring away.
Is that what we would do, as we traveled?
Playing at the crayon box, playing all the day and night.
Is that what we would do?

Or would something odd happen?
Some kind of mutation in our blood?
Would something odd happen?
Would we become degenerates?

Would something happen 
to the people frozen aboard?
Would something happen?
Leaving us screaming and bleeding?

But that does not explain 
what space travel might sound like.

I wanted to know what space travel
might sound like.
Would it sound like,
