The "I need someone to help with my shoes" line was relevant to what was going on, as I hadn't put them on yet.

This one seemed to get stranger as it kept going on. Well, maybe it became strange as soon as I got to the "He is afraid of drinking beer" line. Who is scared of drinking beer?
